The wild finish in the Bengals-Broncos game wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t in part of the effort of Brandon Stokley snagging a tipped pass and racing down for the upset in the final minute, letting Denver beat Cincinnati 12-7. However, something I saw on Twitter for all of today after the game ended was people spelling Stokley’s name as “Stokely.”
It takes two seconds on Google to make yourself not look like an asshat. However, apparently even ESPN doesn’t have two seconds to spare.
This might be nit-picking, but when a player does something that extraordinary, it’d be nice if you spelled his name correctly. Think of how happy David Tyree would be after the Super Bowl recaps read “Tiree Makes The Catch!”
