Even Reggie Jackson Has An Opinion On Patriots-Jets

When your trash talk is going so far as to having legends from other sports give their opinion, it’s time to take a step back and try to figure out what the hell is going on.

Antonio Cromartie (and other New York Jets [and even Terrell Suggs!]) have been voicing their displeasure regarding the New England Patriots to try and rekindle the rivalry that’s already burning. Both sides already have hated each other for the allotted amount of time this season to qualify this as a rivalry, so I don’t know why they keep it up. Now, even Yankees great Reggie Jackson has to intervene, as he has always been a voice of reason.

Tashard Choice Doesn’t Need To Apologize

I know the incident of Tashard Choice asking Michael Vick for an autograph happened on Sunday night, but there’s no way I can ignore the weird responses it has gotten. It happened after Vick’s Eagles beat their NFC East rival Cowboys, and the tweet above shows Choice apologizing and saying it was for his nephew.

Of course, there are people who think that it’s representative of a team as a whole and how they have given up on the season, even though under Jason Garrett, they have won three out of five, and the two games they lost (against the Saints and this one against the Eagles) were by a field goal each. They’re totally slacking off and not trying at all.

Head coach Jason Garrett didn’t really have a problem with it, but worded it in a way so that no columnist could attack him for being as relaxed about it as old head coach Wade Phillips.

Kyle Orton Will Be Cleaning Up Elephant Poop In This Broncos-Tim Tebow Circus

So, some crap in the NFL has gone down since the last time I wrote. I could either recycle some opinions/jokes about these topics (especially that JaMarcus Russell thing, since that fat guy’s basically SSF’s bread-and-butter (mmm, bread and butter)), or just find something else to write about. Hey, no one’s really writing a bunch on Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos right now!

Mark Kiszla of the Denver Post feels bad for Kyle Orton in this whole Tebow-drafting situation, in an article titled “Orton should run away from the circus.” Wait a minute… Orton sounds like Horton, who’s an elephant… and Dumbo is also an elephant and he was in the circus! I think I completely over-analyzed Kiszla’s clever headline, but let’s delve in.
