One of the biggest market cities, Los Angeles is still without a football team since 1995, when the Raiders and Rams both left to the places they reside now.
People are forming plans and getting them set up, however, for a team to go back to the California city. Which team? The Bills? The Jaguars? Nope. Dean Spanos is trying to get his San Diego Chargers to move to L.A.

What do sports journalists do when the team they cover is in the playoffs and they’ve got a deadline to make for their publication? Dig up incredibly unimportant sub-plots involving two players on opposing teams, of course.
Such is the case with Mark Cannizzaro’s article concerning the beef that New York Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery has with San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers.

A lot of analysts were down on the Baltimore Ravens defense this year, talking about the departure of Rex Ryan to the New York Jets, Bart Scott leaving, and simply lack of youth. I admit, I thought that the defense wouldn’t be the same without Ryan either. Ray Lewis, quite possibly one of the scariest men in the NFL, hit Darren Sproles before Sproles even knew what he was supposed to do. You could make an argument, however, that this play highlights Norv Turner’s ineptitude more than the strength and ability to read plays that the Ravens defense has. I think I’ll go with “Norv Turner is really stupid.”
